By accessing or using Cortium, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Cortium on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Cortium is an AI-powered decision engine that analyzes incoming requests, generates structured decisions, and learns from user feedback. The service is provided "as is" and decisions generated by Cortium are suggestions that should be reviewed by qualified personnel before execution.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use Cortium for any unlawful purpose, to process sensitive personal data without appropriate safeguards, to generate decisions that discriminate against protected classes, or to circumvent the human review process for high-stakes decisions.

5. Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the data you provide to Cortium and the decisions generated from your data. Cortium is granted a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. Enterprise customers may have separate SLA agreements.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cortium provides AI-generated decision suggestions. We are not liable for any damages resulting from actions taken based on Cortium decisions. Users are responsible for reviewing all decisions before execution. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, we will delete your data in accordance with our retention policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
